Wilson Creek Winery Announces New Spring Wines Released
The unmistakable aromas of citrus blossoms are present all over the Temecula Valley Wine
Country. This can only mean one thing…spring is here and summer is on the way! Warmer days have prompted the sleepy grapevines to burst into color, bright green foliage. All over the Southern California hills, one can see neat little rows of vineyards and small clusters of grapes forming. Renewed activity around the winery has also begun. Bottling of the 2007 harvest is now taking place, and new wines are being released with eager wine aficionadosready to taste the delicious fruit of our labors.
Wilson Creek Winery is proud to announce the release of two delicious wines from the 2007 harvest—the refreshing Viognier and the bold and beautiful Legacy. The 2007 Viognier is the perfect summer wine—crisp, clean, and fruity. It is a very good representation of exemplary wine made by our own Winemaker, Etienne Cowper. This fine wine will pair nicely with any summer dish, especially with the items at the Creekside Grille’s spring-summer menu. The sexy green bottle will look great on a lunch or dinner table and taste great with salmon or chicken grilled on the barbecue.
The 2007 Legacy, adorned with the golden profile of Rosie & Gerry Wilson’s silhouette, is a Bordeaux blend that is very pleasing to the palate. It pairs especially well with a steak with notes of blackberry and looks wonderful in the glass with its ruby red coloring.
Both available online at www.wilsoncreekwinery.com or at Wilson Creek Winery, located just 7 miles off the I-15 freeway, in Temecula, southern California’s Winey Country. For more information, call (951) 699-9463.
