On September 15, 2009, Massage Envy hosted Massage for the Cure, a nationwide event to help win the fight against breast cancer. On that day, 590 Massage Envy clinics across the country performed a total of 46,680 one-hour massage sessions, at the discounted rate of $35 per session, and Massage Envy donated $10 from each massage to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, for a total donation of over $460,000.
All 10 Massage Envy clinics in the Inland Empire proudly participated, raising over $10,000 locally for Susan G. Komen for the Cure Inland Empire. Since the first Massage for the Cure event in 2005, Massage Envy has raised over $1,250,000 for Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
