Mark Morgan started his year as president of the Murrieta Rotary Club by announcing the officers and directors who will serve the club and community in 2009-10. Bob Bryant will serve as President-Elect and Jeannette Hartmann as President-Nominee. Larry Potter is the Immediate Past President. Secretary this year will be Barbara Oliver and Craig Carper will serve as Treasurer.
Club Directors are: John Mailliard, Service Projects; Dennis McCarbery, Public Relations, Mike Shirley, Membership, George Steele, Foundation, and Larry Zink, Club Administration.
Club committee chairs are: Dawn Fujiwara-Pavlik, Community Service; Paul Gupta, International Service; Mary Mollway and Eva Johnson, Youth Service, and Tom Strong, Vocational Service. Dick Lawe will be Sergeant at Arms.
Morgan said “My 2009-10 goals for the club are to continue its many positive local community and international projects, while looking for more opportunities to serve, and have lots of fun while serving.”
The Rotary Club of Murrieta meets Mondays (except holidays) at 12:10 p.m. at the Sizzler Restaurant, 40489 Murrieta Hot Springs Road in Murrieta.
